England tinsmith / sailor and his ecology-loving wife, this cottage offers a place to relax and enjoy
the natural surroundings. Situated mountainside overlooking
Coral Bay, the villa offers a truly spectacular, 180 degree view, including the
East End of St. John and the British Virgin Islands.
From the
decks, living quarters, four-poster canopy beds, and spa, you will
enjoy the refreshing Tradewinds, beautiful sunrises and moonrises,
star filled evenings, passing sailboats, and soaring Red-tailed
Hawks. The colorful cottage is simple yet elegant, and is
surrounded by lovely tropical gardens.
The villa consists of a main house
with one bedroom, and a guest house with its own
living/dining, kitchen, and sleeping
area.
The two houses are
connected by decks and a lighted pathway.
This colorful Caribbean home is a
memorable location for a honeymoon or romantic getaway. For couples
with older children or two couples vacationing together, the guest
house provides connected, yet private, and fully-equipped
accommodations.
In true West Indian style, Fair Winds
and Following Seas' Main House consists of a great room with two
couches, dining area, fully-equipped, Lexton, stainless kitchen,
bathroom and garden shower.
The great room with indirect
lighting has an antique entertainment center containing a flat
screen TV, Cambridge Sound Works radio/cd
with i-pod docking station and MP3 capability, and DSL internet
access.
The bedroom, located in a separate
building, a few steps from the bathroom, features indirect lighting,
and a hand made, queen-sized, four poster, canopy bed with
fine linens. Tradewinds breezes are augmented in all areas by
overhead fans.
The private spa is located on a deck
between the bathroom and bedroom, while the outdoor dining area features a teak table and stainless
grill.

nearby.
